Parents, you know your Teen really doesn't mean that, but it still hurts. Your teen is hurting too, and is acting
out not because he/(she) is a monster and wants to make your life miserable. He's acting out because he
doesn't have a clue as to how to deal with the pain, or even how to name it, let alone to tell you about it. He
doesn't know how to ask for help but is screaming for help.
  • Is your teen being openly defiant, disrespectful, and disobedient?
